The Article discusses the Apache War, which to the inhabitants of the territory concerns their safety, it also mentions presidential involvement.

My initial reaction was of surprise, the fact that personal issues such as a family leaving town were published publicly seems intrusive.

There wasn't any murder although the overthrow of a local leader Erie Riug was mentioned.

I think this paper would be relatively helpful for learning about the community, certainly more than papers today. Where current papers discuss usually only public news, for better or worse, reading this paper I've learned about the personal lives of the inhabitants as well.
